Christina A. McKinnon is the founding attorney of McKINNON LEGAL and is the firm’s primary attorney. Her legal career began in labor and employee relations in the healthcare industry, but Ms. McKinnon soon realized that her true calling lay in assisting individuals as they face some of life’s greatest challenges.
Since entering private practice, Christina A. McKinnon has focused her career entirely on Florida personal injury and family law. In addition to her work in the courtroom, Ms. McKinnon regularly volunteers with a number of organizations in South Florida. Her Pro Bono work has resulted in a number of honors and awards, including a volunteer award from the Community Partnership for the Homeless (now known as Chapman Partnership) and a Pro Bono award from Dade Legal Aid for her work with the “Put Something Back” program for indigent litigants. Ms. McKinnon was appointed to the 17th Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a term ending July 2020, where she presently serves as Chair.
Ms. McKinnon was selected to the Nova Southeastern University Ambassadors Board, which is comprised of leaders who are passionate about strengthening South Florida through education, economic development, healthcare, and civic service.
